Hourly, Full Time - Flexible shift options:
- Weekdays | Monday – Friday | 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Weeknights | Monday – Friday | 3:30 pm – 2:00 am
- Weekend Days | Friday – Sunday | 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Weekend Nights | Friday – Sunday | 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
- Pay Range:
- $18.00–$22.00 per hour for Mon‑Fri shifts
- $20.40–$24.90 per hour for Fri‑Sun shifts
- $4.00 per hour shift premium for night shifts
- Work Location:
Hotform (7034 IL Rt 84, Savanna, IL 61074) - Reports to:
Production Supervisor
- Set up tooling, operate, and perform changeovers on forging machines to produce components according to specifications.
- Ensure products meet strict quality control requirements.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments.
- Use an overhead crane to load raw material onto machine.
- Interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.
- Complete all necessary documents accurately and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with 5S standards.
- Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through previous experience or hobbies.
- Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.
- Ability to take initiative, demonstrating the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion without supervision.
- Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Proficiency in basic computer and mathematical skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous industrial manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.
- History of reliable attendance record and punctuality – essential to support production timelines and team operations.
