Spot Welder – Wise Staffing Group

Operate spot-welding machines to weld metal parts and assemblies. Read and follow work orders, blueprints, or job specifications. Set up and adjust welding equipment as required. Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy. Perform basic equipment maintenance and report any issues. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Assist with general production or warehouse floor duties as needed. Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate spot-welding machines to weld metal parts and assemblies.
- Read and follow work orders, blueprints, or job specifications.
- Set up and adjust welding equipment as required.
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Assist with general production or warehouse floor duties as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Previous spot welding or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to operate spot-welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of metal fabrication and welding processes.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work on the production/warehouse floor as needed.
- Manufacturing/industrial setting.
- Exposure to noise, heat, and welding equipment.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Would like forklift certification.
