As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining our standards of excellence.
Job Details- Position Type: Hourly, Full Time
- Flexible shift options: Weekend Days | Friday - Sunday | 6:00am - 6:00pm o Weekend Nights | Friday - Sunday | 6:00pm - 6:00am
- Pay Range: $18.13 - $22.67/hour for Fri - Sun shifts o Plus, $2.00/hour shift premium for night shifts
- Work Location: M1 (7034 IL Rt 84, Savanna, IL 61074)
- Reports to: Production Supervisor
- Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.
- Ensure all items meet our strict quality control requirements.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments.
- Interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.
- Complete all necessary documents accurately and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with 5S standards.
- Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.
- Ability to take initiative, demonstrating the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion without supervision.
- Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Proficiency in basic computer and mathematical skills. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous industrial manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.
- History of reliable attendance record and punctuality - essential to support production timelines and team operations.
