Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor – Lead the day‑to‑day maintenance operations at Calumet and help keep our production lines running safely and efficiently.

The Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership, supervision, and coordination of the maintenance functions in the day‑to‑day planning and execution of work orders and objectives while meeting or exceeding safety and environmental regulations and performance goals.

• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with all Calumet health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Plan and execute maintenance tasks to achieve high equipment uptime and integrity.
• Establish performance standards for maintenance using KPIs, develop the method of measurement, and provide timely feedback.
• Complete engineering projects and interface with contractors as needed.
• Perform regular risk assessments of the site.
• Find solutions or products to reduce potential hazards around the plant.
• Make decisions and set priorities that evaluate safety and environmental risks.
• Direct major equipment repairs, monitor plant equipment conditions, and maintain reliable operation.
• Interpret Process Flow Diagrams, Process System Piping, and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs).
• Troubleshoot quality and process problems in collaboration with Operations Superintendents and others.
• Ensure efficient use of the ERP/CMMS system, including timely closure of work orders and generation of reports.
• Manage on‑site maintenance team members and provide training and coaching.
• Accurately report and maintain all health, safety, and environmental records.
• Verify MOCs and PSSRs are completed and sign off.
• Perform maintenance housekeeping.
• Manage maintenance expense, capital budget, inventory, and equipment.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of previous Maintenance Supervision experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Availability for emergency call‑ins.
• Previous certified mechanical, welding, and/or electrical experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and JDE/SAP or similar system.
• Associate’s degree in maintenance, production, science, business, or related field.
• Previous PSM experience.
• Previous 5S experience.

• Capability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize tasks with minimal direction.
