Aboutthe Role
This position involves supervising and managing daily business activities that include direction and leadership, production workload, quality, cross‑training, skill development, and scheduling. The role requires moderate discretion and independent judgment to develop, analyze, and deliver information ranging from simple to complex. Salary Range: $47,500.00 - $71,300.00.
Key Job Accountabilities- Assign work assignments based on daily department needs, ensuring quality products are produced and department metrics are achieved.
- Perform people‑leader activities such as approving time off, conducting performance appraisals, coaching, disciplinary action, and maintaining company policies and procedures.
- Communicate schedules, goals, and quality issues orally and in writing to employees, other shifts, and support staff, ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Ensure personnel are trained on assembly build instructions and comply with all applicable training requirements; flex staff as needed to meet customer schedules based on training and skill sets.
- Support and lead improvement initiatives, actively participating to enhance the work environment—including safety, cleanliness, product quality, and efficiency—and generate innovative solutions to complex problems.
- High School diploma required;
Associate’s degree preferred. - Two (2) years of related experience required; two or more years preferred.
- Basic decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic supervision and team‑building skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Basic data analysis and presentation skills.
- General office equipment and material handling knowledge.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of shift; reach at waist and occasionally above head.
- Ability to carry up to 4.5 Kg (15 Lbs) and lift up to 20.4 Kg (45 Lbs); use fine motor skills and occasional hand‑tool use.
- Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, and/or stoop frequently.
- Ability to meet visual acuity requirements defined by industry certifications and customer specifications.
