The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

• Develop manufacturing processes for new product/programs. (Specify assembly equipment, establish process flow, estimate labor requirements, develop work instructions, design and implement error proofing, etc.) Prepare quote and other customer required submissions.
• Establish production floor layouts that promote lean manufacturing concepts and effective usage of space.
• Coordinate department responsibilities for launches of new programs. Provide leadership and audit the process for manufacturing effectiveness and quality.
• Represent Nascote at assembly plants for problem evaluation or during launches.
• Represent Nascote at vendor shops to validate machines prior to delivery.
• Investigate process problems using the 8D or similar problem-solving methodologies. Lead teams to effective solutions.
• Periodically re-evaluate assembly processes for improved throughput, labor utilization, and quality.
• Work various shifts, overtime, and weekends when required.
• Preferred 2 years of assembly manufacturing engineering experience. Competent in use of Auto-Cad.
• Preferred experience with robotics.
• $75,000-$82,000
