The EHS Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving environmental, health, and safety programs across all Company operations. This role ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations while reducing risk, improving safety performance, and fostering a strong safety culture. The position provides hands-on safety leadership, delivers training, conducts audits, investigates incidents, and partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to standardize safety practices across multiple job sites.
Basepay range
$95,000.00/yr - $/yr

- Salary: $95,000 - $120,000/year
- Develop, implement, and facilitate comprehensive EHS training programs for new hires and existing employees, with emphasis on high-risk industrial cleaning operations.
- Create, update, and maintain safety training materials, manuals, SOPs, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Company standards.
- Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and compliance documentation; coordinate record sharing with Human Resources as required.
- Conduct site audits and inspections to evaluate safety compliance and identify corrective actions.
- Maintain incident reports, safety metrics, and compliance records.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; recommend and implement corrective measures.
- Prepare and submit safety reports for management, regulatory agencies, and clients.
- Deliver safety meetings, toolbox talks, and workshops across multiple job sites.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices and integrate them into Company policies.
- Serve as a safety resource to leadership and employees, providing guidance on EHS concerns.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and implement continuous improvements.
- Promote employee engagement and accountability in safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources, to standardize safety practices company-wide.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Safety Manager or equivalent EHS leadership role.
- Proven experience in safety management, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or high-risk operational environments.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable safety regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and safety management or incident reporting software.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Ability to travel up to 50% to remote job sites.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver engaging safety training.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work a highly flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, overnight shifts, and on-call support.
- Safety certifications such as CSP, CIH, OHST, or similar.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
- Ability to climb stairs and fixed ladders and access elevated work areas.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during training, audits, and site evaluations.
- Ability to work at heights while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand, finger, and wrist movements.
- Ability to operate computers, phones, and mobile devices.
- Adequate vision, hearing, and speech for effective communication.
- Ability to perform sedentary work for extended periods.
- Exempt, full-time position.
- Flexible scheduling required to meet operational demands.
- Frequent field presence and hands-on safety oversight required.
