You will provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. This is a front-line management role focused on leadership, development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving growth objectives for three offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.

• Provide leadership to the customer-centric teams in the three offices you manage.
• Lead the development and performance of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives.
• Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours as needed.
• Work in-person (not remote) and travel between offices as required.
• Lead daily team meetings, coordinate scheduling, and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management for all offices.
• Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office growth plans and local partnerships.
• Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance issues with support from appropriate resources.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
• Experience executing growth plans and leading toward a growth culture.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency (MS Office).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefit programs described above.

Pay Range
: $15.00 - $40.00/Hr.
