Morrison CUSD #6 is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Day Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for students and staff. The custodian plays an essential role in daily cleaning, upkeep, and light maintenance of district facilities.

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with Osha, state/local, federal, and company regulations.
• Properly cleans and maintains multiple areas as assigned
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Frequently removes dusts and debris from high and low surfaces
• Completes any daily paperwork required
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
• Cleaning the restrooms a Kitchenette and office areas. Sweeping, mopping and dusting

Industrial Cleaning to include high dusting, and cleaning outside decks.

The ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

12 month position;
Minimum $16.87/hour. 6:30 - 3:00 hours;
Benefits include single insurance, paid leave days, and IMRF.
