The Hazel Crest School District is seeking individuals to fill substitute custodial positions. Applications are taken on an ongoing basis. Applicants are contacted as the district has a need.

In the absence of a permanent custodian, cleans classrooms, offices, restrooms, and hallways, locks doors and secures building, sets up for special school activities and maintains school grounds in good working condition to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, staff, and community.

• Must possess the ability to work cooperatively with others, and take direction from the appropriate supervisors
• Must possess a working knowledge of and be able to do general maintenance repairs in the areas of electricity, plumbing, heating, and carpentry
• Must possess the ability to perform the quantity and quality of work expected in a safety conscious manner
• Must be available for overtime work when necessary
• A physical exam and negative T.B. test are required
• Must provide a high school diploma or GED equivalent

The position is on call only. The salary is paid in accordance with the current substitute salary schedule.
