Are you ready to make a difference every day? As an Environmental Services Technician , you will play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Daily cleaning and restocking throughout the hospital.
• Following the standards set by our Environmental Services and Infection Prevention and Control departments.
• Committing to an every-other-weekend schedule as part of our regular operations.

We currently have multiple shifts available , and openings are reviewed regularly based on departmental needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding how soiling occurs and the cleaning processes involved.
• Maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized cleaning cart and Environmental Services closet.
• Using Environmental Services chemicals correctly and understanding their dilution rates.
• Performing dust mopping and wet/microfiber mopping on hard surfaces.
• Vacuumming carpeted areas with an upright vacuum cleaner.
• Handling and disposing of all waste streams, including regulated waste.
• Cleaning in-patient rooms daily and performing discharge and transfer cleaning.
• Following isolation cleaning procedures with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Cleaning offices, conference rooms, and public restrooms.
• Reporting facility repair issues and maintaining all cleaning equipment.
• Participating in required training and completing annual learning modules on time.
• Performing other related work as required or requested.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• The ability to lift objects and climb ladders.
• A moderate level of physical effort.

This role requires physical effort and adherence to infection control protocols, including the use of PPE. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

Minimum: USD $15.50/Hr.
Maximum: USD $21.44/Hr.
