Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. invites enthusiastic candidates to join the Union Yard Associate team.

The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing, retrieving, and maintaining equipment on the company property. The role includes maintaining a written maintenance schedule, servicing equipment as needed, inspecting equipment before and after rental, and documenting any lost or damaged items.

• Station equipment and retrieve it on the location’s property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule.
• Service equipment as necessary to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Inspect equipment before and after rental to document lost or damaged items.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in mechanical equipment repair preferred.

• Effective written and oral communication with customers.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Safety-focused attitude.
• Bilingual (Spanish or another language) may be required based on location needs.

• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching.
• Lifting 50 pounds or more.
• Working indoors or outdoors as required.

The hourly wage ranges from $23.75 to $25.75, dependent on the collective bargaining agreement for this location.
