LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company southwest of Portland, OR on a Sr. Director of Warehousing, Logistics, and Planning. • Take full ownership of all warehouse operations including internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Lead the design, construction, and implementation of a new large warehouse, collaborating on layout, automation, systems, and workforce planning.
• Ensure warehousing practices consistently meet safety, food quality, and compliance standards.
• Direct site-level supply planning, translating commercial forecasts into actionable production and inventory plans, balancing schedule adherence with customer service, inventory, and operational needs.
• Oversee transportation of raw materials and finished goods, optimizing carrier selection, lead times, costs, and ensuring compliance with transportation and customs regulations.
• Maintain healthy inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods, implementing systems for safety stock, stock rotation, traceability, and reducing waste and obsolescence.
• Lead the deployment and optimization of site-specific supply chain tools, drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop and track KPIs, and promote data-driven decision-making.
• Build and manage the site supply chain team, foster cross-functional collaboration, represent the site in group-level supply chain discussions, and drive a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning.

• 4 year and/or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or similar highly desired
• 10+ years of progressive experience including production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics
• 5+ years of supervision/leadership experience
• Designing and managing a warehouse build from the ground up
• Experience working in environments that have doubled and tripled output in revenue within 2-4 year time frames

• ERP/MRP literacy
• 3PL management

• Full Time, Direct Hire
• Mon – Fri; 8a-5p – salaried, senior leadership role
• Comp / Benefits – 190-210K DOE; company performance bonus potential, employer/employee supported medical, dental and vision plans, paid time off, and 401k with company match
