• Main function of a business systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations.
• Support the application used for engineering processes and work on service support tickets for the user community, responding to and helping users based on their requests.
• Lead user testing or regression testing; oversee upgrades for the application.
• Identify issues in test/QA environment before deployment into production. Document issues and work with IT partners to upgrade, problem solve, and coordinate resolution of issues.
• Help with performance issues discovered in production environment.
• Help train people on this application.
• Continually make the application better for the user community.

• At least 2 years of experience with business process design - re-examining workflows to optimize performance.
• Some engineering process knowledge, experience in the development of product (not software), help drive continuous improvement and engineering efficiency.
• Experience with engineering software/engineering tools is a huge plus.
• Onsite 5 days/week.
• Will work on Power BI dashboards; must have some data visualization experience with either Power BI or Tableau.
• Core role is the technical business support lead for the application.
