Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting JD Edwards Enterprise One (or World) Sales and Distribution modules. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective use of the JDE system, supporting all sales, order management, pricing, and shipping processes.
Key Responsibilities- Implement, configure, and support the JDE Sales and Distribution (SD) module, including order management, sales orders, quotations, pricing, inventory management, and shipment processing.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into JDE configuration solutions that meet client needs.
- Collaborate with business users to understand sales workflows and ensure optimal configuration in the JDE environment.
- Develop functional specifications, assist with customizations, and troubleshoot issues within the JDE SD module.
- Assist with integrations between the JDE SD module and other ERP modules, such as Finance, Inventory, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
- Perform data migrations and ensure proper data flow between systems.
- Design and develop test scripts and perform system testing, ensuring that new configurations and updates work as expected.
- Provide ongoing user support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues within the Sales and Distribution module.
- Maintain and monitor system performance and coordinate upgrades or patches when required.
- Develop and deliver user training and documentation to ensure smooth transitions and proper system use.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends in JDE and ERP technologies to suggest improvements and efficiencies.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with JDE Sales and Distribution (SD), specifically JD Edwards Enterprise One or JD Edwards World.
- Strong understanding of Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Order Fulfilment, Inventory Management, and Distribution functions within JDE.
- Experience with JDE configuration, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to translate business requirements into JDE solutions.
- Proficiency with JDE reporting tools like One View or UBE.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, data integrations, and business processes.
- Experience in implementation and upgrade projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with business users and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
