Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Developer Applications located in Buffalo Grove, IL.
Reporting to the Systems Architecture Manager
, the Developer Applications will need strong experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and enterprise system integrations. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying robust applications and services using modern technologies, ensuring seamless integration between MES and other enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, hands‑on development experience, and the ability to work in regulated environments.
- Design and develop applications using .NET (C#) and SQL Server.
- Build Windows Services, REST APIs, and real‑time communication features using Signal
R. - Develop responsive UIs using Bootstrap and Angular.
- Read and interpret functional and technical specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
- Perform unit testing and participate in stress test deployments to validate performance and reliability.
- Implement integrations between MES and ERP, WMS, QMS, and other systems using modern protocols (REST, OPC UA, MQTT, AMQP).
- Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange across platforms.
- Participate in solution design discussions and recommend best practices for integration and architecture.
- Optimize performance and ensure high availability of applications.
- Use Azure Dev Ops for CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated deployments.
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GxP) and internal quality standards.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies such as event‑driven architectures, microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), edge computing, OPC UA, MQTT, IIoT platforms, cloud‑native services (Azure IoT, AWS IoT Core), and AI/ML for predictive analytics, and recommend adoption where appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years in application development with strong focus on .NET and SQL.
- Mandatory: .NET (C#), SQL Server, Windows Services, Azure Dev Ops.
- Good to have experience in regulatory environments (FDA, GxP).
- Exposure to MES systems.
Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois): $94,900.00 USD - $ USD
