Job Description:Our client is seeking an experienced HR / Payroll Specialist to support daily HR operations and bi-weekly payroll processing. This role will serve as the internal Paylocity expert, helping maintain system accuracy, support reporting needs, and assist employees with HR and payroll-related questions. This is a highly visible role that works closely with HR leadership and plays a key part in system optimization and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the Paylocity super-user, maintaining data integrity, system updates, and ongoing improvements
- Process bi-weekly payroll including reviewing timecards, pay calculations, PTO, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefits
- Audit payroll for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Generate reports and analyze system data to support HR initiatives and compliance
- Assist with onboarding, new hire documentation, and employee record management
- Administer benefits enrollments, changes, and employee communications
- Support 401(k) administration and HR compliance efforts
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies
- Provide general HR administrative support and project assistance
- 2+ years of HR support experience with strong payroll knowledge
- Hands-on experience using Paylocity
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Comfortable running reports and exploring system capabilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual Spanish is a major plus
