PrimaryResponsibilities
The Benefits Analyst will assist with the analysis and administration of the KeHE Total Rewards program, with a concentration in Health and Welfare plans. They will ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. The Benefits Analyst will also research, analyze, and evaluate our plans and programs. EssentialFunctions
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Researches, analyzes, evaluates, and administers the KeHE Total Rewards program, with a concentration in Health and Welfare plans.
- Monitors benefit trends in the business environment and stays abreast of applicable benefits legislation.
- Maintains and manages relationships with insurance carriers, benefits brokers, and third-party benefits vendors to ensure quality and efficiency of delivery of our benefit programs.
- Reviews, processes, and manages benefits related inquiries received through the KeHE Central ticketing system.
- Reviews and researches discrepancy reports provided by vendors or internal partners, processing necessary corrections to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Creates and maintains processes and procedures to be compliant with state, federal, and IRS regulations.
- Creates and updates SOPs as they pertain to internal processes.
- Works with the communications team in the development of benefits communications.
- Provides exceptional service and support to internal and external customers.
- Maintains safeguards of confidential company information.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT) and experience using Excel spreadsheets to analyze data or similar software.
- Must have strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable communicating and working with all levels of management.
- Capable of understanding complex plan documents and contracts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in Benefits plan administration.
- Experience with Businessolver and/or Dayforce preferred
- Auditing and filing 5500 experience preferred.
- These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The role requires the use of hands and fingers for computer-based work and is primarily sedentary, with occasional standing, walking, or setting up rooms or spaces for work-related events.
