Job Overview:
As an HR Consultant, you will support and guide our leadership teams across various facets of human resources. In this pivotal role, you will act as a strategic partner, providing expert advice on HR best practices, compliance with employment laws, and the development of tailored HR solutions. Your efforts will directly contribute to fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with business leaders and stakeholders to understand organizational needs and deliver effective HR strategies.
- Provide administrative and strategic support across all HR functions, including recruitment, employee development, retention, and employer brand management.
- Equip leaders with tools and resources that promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
- Identify gaps and recommend actionable solutions to enhance company culture and employee engagement.
- Anticipate and assess HR-related needs, communicating them effectively to HR leadership and relevant business partners.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends in collaboration with the broader HR team to inform policy development and continuous improvement.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including conducting fair and objective investigations into concerns or grievances.
- Support performance management processes, including coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective action guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-4 years HR experience required; experience in a retail or multi-unit environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, employment law, and business practices.
- Prior experience with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust across all organizational levels.
- Creative, adaptable, and collaborative team player.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus but not required.
Compensation Range: $68,000 - $95,000. Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
