Position:Director of Human Resources
Pay Rate: $140-155k with bonus
Job SummaryThe Director of Human Resources is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all HR functions across corporate, manufacturing, and distribution operations. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and serves as a key member of the management team, leading HR strategy, compliance, labor relations, and talent initiatives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and administer company wide HR policies, practices, and compliance
- Manage and develop the HR team, including plant and corporate HR staff and third‑party agencies
- Oversee union relations, grievance resolution, and labor negotiations
- Direct recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee relations at all levels
- Partner on safety, workers’ compensation, OSHA compliance, and incident reporting
- Lead performance management, compensation reviews, training, and development programs
- Collaborate on payroll, benefits, and wage structure oversight
- 10–15 years of HR experience in manufacturing; 7+ years in leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office
- Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, changing environment
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Exposure to manufacturing environments; PPE may be required
- Occasional travel as needed
