Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
  • Proven experience in a creative, production, agency, or media environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, compensation strategy, and organizational design.
  • Experience building HR infrastructure in a scaling or multi-location business.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative, approachable style.
  • Demonstrated commitment to DEI principles and inclusive practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on people-related matters.
  • Build and manage an HR team that supports scalable, responsive people operations.
  • Lead full-cycle talent acquisition to attract, hire, and retain top creative and operational talent.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and professional development programs.
  • Implement performance management frameworks that promote growth, clarity, and accountability.
  • Develop and support career pathways and succession planning.
  • Champion a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
  • Cultivate a culture of feedback, collaboration, and transparency.
  • Design and lead employee engagement initiatives, feedback cycles, and recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Manage HR systems (HRIS, payroll, benefits administration).
  • Oversee compensation strategy and administer benefit programs in partnership with Finance.
  • Maintain and evolve employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead change management initiatives that foster agility and communication.
