- Supervise day‑to‑day performance of breast imaging & ultrasound staff across 3+ sites (20–30 technologists)
- Manage staff schedules, approve time‑off, and cover shift gaps as needed
- Assist in hiring, discipline, mentoring, coaching, and recruitment efforts
- Minimize patient delays, generate and maintain departmental reports, conduct annual performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain departmental budget, and perform modality accreditation
- Serve as educational and technical resource to staff and radiologists
- Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment
- Provide guidance on departmental rules, procedures, and protocols
- Participate in ongoing service and process improvement, including equipment selection and protocol development
- Respond to Peer Vues, maintain MQSA data, ensure MQSA standards, manage MQSA inspections, and maintain ACR accreditation
- Track and schedule annual physicist surveys for mammography equipment and maintain Viewpoint worksheets
- Collaborate with Manager & Modality Lead on safety standards and public safety awareness
- Current ARRT registration for Mammography or Ultrasound, or ARDMS for Ultrasound
- Current BLS - Basic Life Support, AED Adult & Pediatric CPR
- Graduate of accredited sonography program
- Minimum 5 years of clinical ultrasound imaging experience
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience (preferred)
- Associate’s degree (minimum)
- Interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation ability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Working knowledge of mammography and/or ultrasound technologist duties, patient care, and clinical exam completion
Base pay range: $79,255–$118,884. Pay determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
