  • STOP (School Violence – aims to prevent and reduce school violence through education, crisis intervention, and community collaboration)

Hours of Work

Full‑time, 40 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field (Mental Health Professional (MHP) qualification qualifies);
    Preferred:
    Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and/or Master’s degree in Human Services or related field.
  • At least one year of experience providing health or human services to children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Experience in program development, coordination, and supervision is preferred.
Special Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance; operate agency and personal vehicles for agency business in a safe and lawful manner.
  • Maintain First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Complete required registry clearances and criminal fingerprint background checks.
  • Schedule evening or weekend hours as required for community events and outreach.
  • Travel to off‑site/community‑based locations for direct service delivery.
  • Participate in a 24‑hour crisis rotation.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to represent the organization externally across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • General knowledge of juvenile justice and child welfare systems, community resource and human service systems, service planning, case coordination, and effective clinical supervision.
Job Duties
  • Intervene to change attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors of clients to improve individual and family‑level functioning.
  • Provide regular updates to the direct supervisor regarding program engagement and programmatic needs.
  • Deliver direct support within assigned programs to manage increased demand or maintain staff ratios, ensuring program/project timelines are monitored.
  • Communicate professionally and efficiently with stakeholders (employees, participants, families, referral sources, community members) to keep them apprised of program events and opportunities.
  • Coordinate, communicate, and seek opportunities to collaborate and develop partnerships with community organizations, agencies, and groups; maintain networking and referral contacts; participate in relevant community groups, consortia, and coalitions.
  • Maintain program records (paper and electronic) and assist with compliance duties during program surveys, site monitoring, and audits.
  • Review Prevention Hub and internal tracking systems biweekly to ensure documentation and completion of programmatic requirements; provide instruction to staff on compliance needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate all program(s) and grant contracts to ensure adherence to rules, standards, and contract deliverables; submit required reports as dictated by contracts/regulations.
  • Participate in daytime and after‑hours on‑call rotation; provide crisis intervention and support services for staff and clients during crisis situations.
  • Assist with and oversee planning for required program activities.
