Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $51.21. Base pay offered may increase based on experience, skills and internal equity. This is an hourly position.
OSF will invest in you on day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day

Performs and records two‑dimensional ultrasound diagnostic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional patient data. Completes patient intakes via collection of medical history and answers patient questions regarding imaging procedures. Confers with providers on the results of imaging tests and collaborates to determine if additional images are required.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered as a vascular technologist with the Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute (CCI) OR Registered as a Sonographer (ARRT(S)) or a Vascular Sonographer (ARRT(VS)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Registered within 6 months of hire and pass boards within 1 year of hire.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Previous clinical experience to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, operate equipment, and gain knowledge of patient‑care techniques.
