This position is ideal for candidates who are looking to gain experience in a behavioral health field or for individuals with a passion for serving others. Direct Support Professional (DSP) Requirements

· DSP certified or the ability to become certified through our paid training

· At least 18 years of age

· Transportation to your shifts

· Lift 50 lbs

· Pass a criminal background check

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Duties

♥ Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADL’s

♥ Assisting with all household task, meal preparation cooking and cleaning; maintain a safe and healthy home environment that encourage learning.

♥ Monitor individuals and engage in redirection.

♥ Document individual’s activities, concerns and progress notes as required.

♥ Participate in and out-of-home activities which may include driving company vehicles.

♥ Provide an Abuse and Neglect free environment at all times.
