Allied Travel Careers  is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in Metropolis, Illinois.

• Evaluate patients thoroughly and develop individualized treatment plans that aim for real functional gains.
• Implement and adjust therapeutic interventions using evidence‑based techniques.
• Document evaluations, treatment goals, and progress clearly and on time.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals to coordinate care.
• Delegate and supervise appropriate tasks to PTAs and support staff to meet patient goals.
• Educate patients and families to empower recovery and long‑term wellness.
• Practice within the Illinois Physical Therapy Practice Act and department procedures to ensure safe, compliant care.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist program.
• Illinois Physical Therapy license required, or eligible for a temporary work permit.
• Prior demonstrable experience preferred; 1 year in a hospital setting preferred and outpatient experience expected.
• Experience supervising PTA or working with support staff.
• Strong documentation skills and knowledge of Illinois Physical Therapy Practice Act.
• Friendly communicator who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist program.

• Patient assessment and functional evaluation.
• Care plan development and individualized treatment planning.
• Therapeutic intervention techniques for outpatient populations.
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting.
• Supervision and delegation to PTAs and support staff.
• Collaborative care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with Illinois Physical Therapy Practice Act and departmental procedures.
