Hamilton Memorial Hospital District is seeking a Rehab Office Manager to oversee the administrative and operational functions of our Rehabilitation Department. This role plays a critical part in supporting patient access, staff coordination, billing accuracy, payroll processes, and regulatory compliance for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Cardiac Rehabilitation services.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment while collaborating with clinical staff, leadership, and support departments.
Wage Range: $17.75 - $25.56 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily administrative operations of the Rehabilitation Department
- Manage patient scheduling, registrations, insurance authorizations, and visit tracking
- Process departmental payroll, timekeeping, ETO/PLAWA tracking, and attendance points
- Maintain staff licensure, certifications (including CPR/Aquatic Therapy), and compliance records
- Complete departmental statistics, reports, and documentation
- Complete employee evaluations, counseling, and performance improvement plans in accordance with the CBA and hospital policy
- Maintain accurate and organized patient charts, orders, plans of care, and discharge documentation
- Review daily rehab charges to ensure accurate billing and assist with claims resolution
- Collaborate with Billing, Health Information, Payroll, Human Resources, and leadership
- Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Support Just Culture principles and patient safety efforts
- Provide professional, empathetic service to patients and families
