Home Care Aide – Addus Home Care

We are hiring immediately for Home Care Aide positions. This rewarding, entry‑level role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time hours to accommodate your needs while providing a great career with a growing industry leader.

Starting wage: $18/hr plus travel reimbursement.

• Assist with personal care
• Provide occasional house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation assistance
• Transport client to appointments and daily errands

• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable, energetic, self‑motivated, and well‑organized
• Provide two references (one professional, one personal)

Eligible employees and their dependents will be offered health insurance coverage through The SEIU Healthcare Illinois Home Care and Child Care Fund (the “Fund”), including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are also eligible to enroll in an employer‑sponsored retirement plan after 6 months of service (21 years of age). Accrued paid time off (up to 75 hours per year based on tenure) and paid holidays (for employees who have worked at least 1 year and do at least 30 hours per week).
