Medical AssistantLocation: Monarch Landing Clinic (Naperville, IL)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
About the RoleJoin our dedicated physician group in providing meaningful, high-quality care to patients in a supportive outpatient clinic setting. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to work collaboratively with our physicians and nurse practitioners, serving as a vital part of our clinical team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive clinical tasks including taking patient histories, vital signs, and documenting in the EMR.
- Assist physicians during examinations, testing, and procedures.
- Administer medications and immunizations.
- Conduct phlebotomy and basic laboratory tests.
- Manage administrative duties such as scheduling, billing support, phone calls, and faxing.
- Maintain patient records, stock exam rooms, and ensure a clean, prepared clinical environment.
- Provide excellent patient education and communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience with:
- EMR/EHR systems
- Taking vital signs
- Phlebotomy
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to our Naperville location.
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shift
