Job Description
Director of Nursing (DON) in Minnesota
Join our compassionate team in Minnesota, where we deliver quality care with kindness and sincerity from a Christian perspective. As DON, lead nursing operations in our warm community offering assisted living and memory care to enhance residents' dignity, independence, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource management to ensure safe, resident-centered care in assisted living and memory care.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervise RNs and staff, enforce policies, and drive quality improvement initiatives for optimal resident outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Minnesota Department of Health regulations, manage surveys, promote infection control, and collaborate with families and providers.
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Minnesota; BSN preferred with 5+ years in nursing leadership, ideally as DON/ADON in assisted living or senior care.
- Strong knowledge of gerontological care, regulatory standards, and experience in restorative nursing practices.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to foster a team-oriented culture, and availability for on-call duties.
- Competitive salary around $100,000+ annually, based on Minnesota assisted living DON averages, plus benefits in a supportive environment.
