Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work mixed shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Weekend rotation every 4th weekend

• On-call requirement of 1 night per week from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Must have minimum 2 years of experience

• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience

• Patient ratio of 1:1

• Work both independently and dependently as needed

• Handle outpatient and inpatient cases

• Work with 3 ultrasound rooms for outpatient services

• Patient types include OB, GYN, abdominal, and vascular cases

• Must be comfortable with patients ranging from babies to geriatric

• Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS/ARRT-US OB, GYN, AB, RVT

• Skills required in general and vascular ultrasound from babies to abdominal and vascular procedures

• May float to off-site locations including Lake Zurich and Crystal Lake

• One week precepted orientation with half-day float to satellite locations

• Scrub color requirement:
Caribbean Blue

• Free parking available in designated areas

• Holiday work optional for additional shifts

This 176-bed healthcare facility features Level 2 Trauma Center and Level 2 NICU designations, along with Magnet recognition and Primary Stroke Center certification. The ultrasound department utilizes advanced technology including EPIC EMR system and state-of-the-art equipment such as LOGIC E9 and Toshiba units. The facility maintains a traveler-friendly and team-oriented culture with strong support from management, supervisors, and team leads, and operates multiple locations for comprehensive patient care.
