PAY RANGEThis range is provided by Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
BASE PAY RANGE$17.00/hr - $22.00/hr
GENERAL SUMMARYReports to the Director of Therapy Services. Performs designated tasks related to the operation of the department and wellness center. Performs infection control activities in the therapy clinic.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Answers phone calls in a timely manner, responds to caller's needs, and uses appropriate phone etiquette.
- Receives & conveys messages appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Provides courteous, cooperative services to patients, visitors & staff. Demonstrates good communication skills.
- Assists clinicians with non-skilled patient care per the direction and oversight of the clinician.
- Discusses any concerns regarding a patient's health with the patient's clinician.
- Reports to the department director all incidents, equipment malfunctions, and program-related issues.
- Assists in performing various clerical functions, such as filing charts, making copies, faxing, etc. as needed.
- Assists in maintaining an orderly, sanitized, and safe work environment. Maintains required cleaning records.
- Accurately completes processes for new patients, including accurate registration information, when applicable.
- Schedules patients for initial and subsequent visits.
- Completes required/requested tasks in a timely manner and without prompting.
- Participates in the performance improvement activities of the department.
- Complies with organizational attendance policy and use of the electronic timekeeping system.
- Performs work within specified time frames. Adapts positively to frequent changes and interruptions in workload &/ or work schedules.
- Adheres to department policies and procedures.
- Uses time efficiently and productively to enhance department operations & the success of the department.
- Completes all competency/skills assessments and training as required.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
