Activities Assistant

Join our team as an Activities Assistant at Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Virden, IL.

Base pay: $15.00/hr – $16.00/hr (daily pay options available).

• Provide engaging recreational activities for residents.
• Support planning, scheduling, and implementation of activities aligned with resident care plans.
• Prepare and distribute activity calendars and communication materials.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and families.
• Generate enthusiasm and motivate residents to participate.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.

• Valid CNA license preferred but not required.
• At least one year of experience, ideally in long‑term care (other relevant experience considered).
• Creative, motivated, organized team player.
• Enjoys working with seniors and has experience engaging residents in group and one‑on‑one settings.
• Reliable, professional, and passionate about genuine hometown care.
