Opportunity for CRNAs to practice in a highly autonomous environment. Blended team model, with physician and CRNAs sharing call and personally providing anesthesia. Diverse case mix which affords the opportunity to utilize regional anesthesia skills.
St. Francis Hospital, located in Litchfield, IL, is a Catholic not-for-profit health care facility affiliated with Hospital Sisters Health System. Established in 1875, it offers a full range of medical services including surgery, cancer care, advanced imaging, and maternity services. Responsibilities include:
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtaining and verifying patient consent
- Discussing anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring physiological conditions
- Performing clinical interventions as needed
Requirements:
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certification or recertification by the AANA
