** Hospice Companion Volunteers
** Living Well Centre We currently have exciting opportunities for Hospice Companions to join our dedicated team of volunteers based at the Rowans Living Well Centre.

A volunteer companion provides support/befriends local people and families who are affected by a life limiting illness. You would provide a range of tasks from practical support such as dog walking, shopping, light housework, being a listening ear or simply sharing a common interest in people’s homes.

Ideally being a buddy from diagnosis, to death and into bereavement.

Training and support will be provided adding to your own skills and life experience.

Getting involved and making a real difference in your community can be an extremely rewarding experience.
