Key areas of Focus
Responsiblesupportofplanning&management reportingprocess in SAPBPCenvironment including problemresolutionbreak fix support,enhancements and optimization.
Requires strong understanding of thefinancialprocesses,headcount,revenue,and direct marketing planning as well asrequirements for management
P&Lreporting.
An understanding of price volume analysis is a plus.
Manage and ensure thatactuals loaded into BPCat a SKU, costcenterand profit center leveltie to reported resultsmonthly.
Ensure that monthly financial data isloaded to BPC is complete and that all validation checks are performed.
Provide the finance team with support for ad-hoc reports.
Ensure actualized forecast tie to final monthly, quarterly reported results.
Coordinate with finance communications touserbase of50+ usersregardingsystem readiness to prepareforecast, collection of forecast templates and locking the forecasts.
Finally,facilitate the submission of forecasts to corporate.
Act asBPCsubject matter expert for thefinanceorganization.
Continuously and proactively improve the environment to enrich experience by promoting and developing the automation of processes with current and future application flows, enhancing existing reports,along with making metadata suggestions tooptimizemanagement reporting.
Develop,maintain and improve documentation on key business processes and procedures in compliance with internal control policies as well as provide training documentation and support for end users.
Maintain production anddevelopmentdatabases, including data management, hierarchy updates, calculation script logic updates, data backups, and user security.
Design, develop and troubleshoot load rules, Business Rules and Calculation Scripts.
Assist with technical patches,upgradesand system/application migrations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required,in Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting, MBA preferred.
7+years’ experience in architecting,buildingandsupporting financialapplicationswith administration and/or implementation of SAP BPC preferred. Microsoft Excelexpertiserequired.
Strong Analytical and technical skills to continuously improve processesrequired.
Understanding /Acumen of finance with strong knowledge in budgeting and forecasting.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in highly fast paced changing environment
Ability to collaborate with all levelsto appropriately plan for growth and change
Good problem solving skills, including innovative and creative solutions
Ability to work independently and be goal oriented, as well as work as part of a team
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadline
