Role Overview
looking for experienced SOTIF and Functional Safety Engineers to support safety concept development and compliance activities for advanced automotive/embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support Functional Safety (ISO 26262) activities across the lifecycle
- Perform SOTIF (ISO 21448) analysis for intended functionality and system limitations
- Conduct hazard analysis and risk assessment (HARA)
- Define safety goals, safety concepts, and safety requirements
- Support system, hardware, and software safety reviews
- Work closely with system, controls, and software engineering teams
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation and reports
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
- Experience with SOTIF / ISO 21448
- Background in automotive, off-highway, or embedded systems
- Ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams
Not Required
- Validation engineers are NOT needed for this role
