Overview
Hydroblasting Automation Specialist / Training Lead – New Age Cryo
Location:
Midwest (Travel Required)
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 (based on experience)
Responsibilities- Operate, deploy, and optimize automated hydroblasting equipment, including tube cleaners, vessel crawlers, and remote-controlled systems.
- Evaluate job scopes and identify opportunities to replace or reduce manual blasting with automation.
- Train, certify, and mentor field crews on automation setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Promote automation as a primary safety improvement tool and ensure OSHA, site, and company safety compliance.
- Support plant walkthroughs, shutdown planning, and customer education.
- Assist operations and sales teams with automation feasibility reviews and job planning.
- Strong background in industrial hydroblasting (ethanol plant experience preferred).
- Proven experience with hydroblasting automation equipment.
- Ability to lead, train, and mentor field crews.
- Strong safety mindset and leadership presence.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to job sites and shutdowns.
- Ethanol plants, refineries, or heavy industrial facilities.
- Automated exchanger, tank, and vessel cleaning.
- High-pressure pumping systems (20k–40k psi).
- Confined space and outage environments.
