Repair Center EngineerThe Repair Center Engineer will perform maintenance, modification and repair of mechanical, electro‑mechanical, electronic and refrigeration instruments. This role is fully onsite, part of the Customer Support Group located in Richmond, IL, and reports to the Director of the Service and Repair Center.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, modification and repair on mechanical, electro‑mechanical, electronic and refrigeration instruments.
- Identify root cause of instrument malfunctions and determine feasibility of repair.
- Calibrate, adjust and certify overhauled or modified instruments; test, certify and harvest spare parts.
- Support the warehouse returns department by identifying good and complete returned items including instruments and spare parts/assemblies.
- Associate degree or Technical Certifications with at least 1 year of experience in performing maintenance, modification and/or repair on mechanical, electro‑mechanical, electronic and refrigeration instruments.
- Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.
Compensation:
The hourly range for this role is $26.00 - $32.00, subject to change. This position is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
