Job Description – Hydraulic Test Engineer

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Test Engineer to support hydraulic testing and mechanical system validation projects. This role involves hands-on testing, data analysis, and collaboration with engineering and lab teams to improve product performance and reliability.

• Lead hydraulic component and subsystem testing from planning through final reporting
• Research, design, and test mechanical systems, tools, and equipment
• Analyze customer specifications and determine project feasibility
• Investigate equipment failures and perform root cause analysis
• Provide recommendations to improve system performance and reliability
• Prepare technical documentation and test reports

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
• 5–7 years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong hands-on mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation
• Knowledge of failure analysis and root cause investigation
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience working with hydraulic systems or fluid power components
• Background in product or component testing
