The Transition of Operations (ToO) Process Preparations and Project Management unit, in the Naval Reactors Facility Engineering Department, is seeking an Engineer to join our team.
The primary focus for this position is to prepare the organization to be ready to execute NRF long-range operational transitions to start spent fuel handling in new production facilities s is a multi-disciplined group that develops project plans including scheduling, budgets, and risk management. The organization will work directly with unit level managers across the NNL and engineers to develop and document product line startup project plans.

The engineer will:
- Prepare and execute NRF long-range operational transitions to start spent fuel handling in new production facilities at NRF.
- Develop project plans including scheduling, budgets, and risk management.
- Work directly with unit level managers across the NNL and engineers to develop and document product line startup project plans.
- Coordinate and lead teams to progress project schedules.
Required Combination Of Knowledge And Skill
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; or
- Currently an Intermediate Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Proficient in Microsoft Excell and PowerBI
- Project Management training or experience

$77,900.00 - $ annually
