Caterpillar’s Electrification & Energy Solutions (EES) Division will focus on delivering advanced electrified power train, zero‑emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries.

Position

New Technology Leader (Power Conversion)

Responsibilities
  • Lead technology development projects from requirements, concept down to prototype validation.
  • Lead sponsored research projects with University and National labs.
  • Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert for the Power Conversion Team.
  • Partner with market‑facing organizations to support customer project development.
  • Lead a small team of engineers to work on projects that make impact for Caterpillar’s power generation products.
Degree Requirement

Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
