Job Description

Are you ready to help make it happen at Mondelēz International? Our fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment offers early‑career candidates the chance to learn, grow, and push their comfort zones. This program focuses on practical, value‑added projects that teach how operations production drives value throughout the organization.

Only LOCAL candidates will be considered for this role, as it is fully in‑person. The program runs from February 23 through December 18 2026. Selected candidates must be available to work at least part‑time hours between February 23 and May 15, full‑time hours during the summer (May 18 – August 7), and then part‑time hours through the end of the program during the fall. All hours are in‑person.

As part of Manufacturing, you’ll use your skills, our systems, and a wide array of raw materials to help create the delicious, finished products our consumers love. While taking ownership in your area of work, you’ll also ensure safety for yourself and your colleagues while producing our high‑quality products reliably and efficiently within our integrated supply chain.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to employees while optimizing production
  • Meet production schedules to achieve business goals
  • Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, and employees
  • Lead multi‑functional project teams of technical and operations functions
Requirements and

Preferred Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a preferred expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027
  • Must be in close proximity to Mondelēz International’s Naperville, IL Plant (1555 Ogden Ave, Naperville, IL 60540)
  • Must be available for full‑time hours (40 hours per week) over the summer, and part‑time hours during the spring and fall 2026 semesters
  • Eligible for U.S. employment and authorized to work without future visa sponsorship (e.g., H1‑B, F‑1 OPT, TN)

Compensation
  • Weekly pay ranges from $1,000‑$1,300, based on expected graduation date
  • Compensation rates for summer interns are predetermined and non‑negotiable
Benefit Summary

Base salary ranges from $61,800 – $77,250, with eligibility to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with potential for over‑achievement.
