Job DescriptionAs part of the Site Investigation & Remediation (SIR) team in Creve Coeur, Missouri, you will lead and manage environmental multi-media remediation programs for clients in the Industrial, Mining, Energy, Oil & Gas, and Transportation sectors. You will help support and expand WSP’s environmental consulting business in Missouri.
This OpportunityWe are seeking a compelling leader and expert who can bring their knowledge, leadership skills, and tenacious attitude to impact a solid team.
Your Impact- Perform business development within the Oil & Gas and Industrial/Commercial sectors for environmental remediation, geologic investigations, and related services.
- Design, oversee, mentor, and direct the efforts of staff and project-level engineers.
- Lead or provide quality review and oversight in preparation of technical reports and proposals.
- Interact with operational leadership, other principal and senior-level employees in the office, region, and firm-wide.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring that deliverables, schedules and budgets are achieved.
- Travel to projects as needed to execute project goals and business development.
- Make significant contributions to meeting key performance indicators for the P&L center.
- BS in Geology, Earth Sciences or related field.
- 12+ years of related environmental remediation and sales experience.
- Strong work ethic.
- Self-starter, team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience with remediation/assessment projects involving regional federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Ability to mentor and direct staff.
- Oversee remedy construction and operation and maintenance of environmental project work.
- Must pass drug test, physical, background check and hold a valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record as per company policy.
- Master’s Degree in Geology or related field.
- Missouri and/or Illinois Professional Geologist’s License.
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR ) preferred.
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired.
