## Education Partnerships and Engagement Coordinator

** This is your opportunity to pioneer the degree-based apprenticeship model on a national level. You’ll be on the cutting edge of where industry meets higher education, delivering industry standard career ready graduates.
This supports the development and delivery of educational partnerships by coordinating industry engagement activities that connect external partners with relevant learning, teaching and student‐focused initiatives across the University. This enables high‐quality engagement with industry, community and government stakeholders to strengthen partnership activity, support diverse education pathways that broaden access to higher education, and contribute to meaningful, future‐focused learning opportunities for students.
At the heart of this role is Flinders University's recently released 2035 vision to change the lives of 10 million people for the better over the next 10 years. For example, this position will contribute to delivering Flinders University's Nation-Leading Degree-Based Apprenticeships programs, expanding participation in the workforce to build skills of the future for South Australia Some of the Key Position responsibilities include:
* Building and maintaining productive working relationships with industry, employers, community and government stakeholders to support high quality engagement that enhances partnership activity, contributes to diverse education pathways, and strengthens graduate career outcomes.
* Working collaboratively with the Education Partnerships Lead and relevant University teams to ensure a coherent, responsive and well‐coordinated approach to industry engagement aligned with emerging industry needs, employer expectations and community priorities.
* Supporting and enabling the co-design and co-delivery of educational activities with industry partners, helping to identify and create industry-connected learning opportunities that enhance students’ applied learning, understanding of contemporary employment and enterprise landscape, and overall career readiness.
* Maintaining accurate records, engagement documentation and partnership information to ensure continuity, visibility and quality across industry engagement and educational partnership activities, including employer‐related interactions.

*** About You
** You have a flexible mindset with the ability to build programs from the ground up and on the go, then test and refine these in line with multi-stakeholder feedback. With a comprehensive understanding of key enablers of successful co design and co delivery of educational activities with industry partners, you will contribute to learning experiences that strengthen students’ applied learning and career readiness.
With experience in the development and delivery of assessment centres, (including designing bespoke assessment materials), you are courageous in prototyping and piloting cutting-edge recruitment processes with the support of industry partners.
You will need:
* Well‐developed to high level stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with industry, employers, community and government partners.
* Demonstrated well-developed to high-level communication, influencing and negotiation skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise reports, briefing notes, presentations and engagement materials for diverse internal and external audiences.
* Proven ability to coordinate complex engagement activities and events, including the planning, logistics and implementation of partnership related initiatives in a dynamic environment.
* The ability to work proactively and independently under broad direction, exercising sound judgement and contributing to continuous improvement and to supervise staff, including providing day‐to‐day guidance, coordinating workloads, supporting performance and development, and fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
