Position: Giants Robotics Club Coach Location: Alden-Hebron High School Date of Posting: September 10, 2025 Start Date: October 1, 2025 Final date to receive applications: September 24, 2025
Stipen: $4327.00
Description: The Giants Robotics Club provides Alden-Hebron High School students with opportunities to design, build, and program robots using VEX Robotics materials and the Robotics C++ program. Students participate in local, state, and occasionally national VEX Robotics competitions.
Responsibilities- Serve as a mentor and supervise two robotics teams during club sessions and tournaments.
- Oversee meetings held on select days after school from September through March.
- Accompany and supervise students at 3–4 Saturday tournaments between December and March.
- Complete an online training course to learn VEX systems and programming.
- Support and guide students by learning alongside them throughout the process.
- Strong interest in mentoring and supporting students.
- Willingness to learn robotics systems and programming (no prior experience required).
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
- Availability for after-school meetings and weekend tournaments.
