El Paso–Gridley High School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our team. This position includes serving as a case manager for a small, manageable caseload, co‑teaching in general education classrooms, and providing targeted academic and organizational support in a resource study hall setting for students on your caseload.

Key Responsibilities- Serve as case manager for a small special education caseload, coordinating IEPs, communicating with families, and collaborating with teachers and support staff.
- Co‑teach in general education classrooms to deliver inclusive instruction that supports diverse learners.
- Provide academic support, skill development, and progress monitoring in a structured resource study hall setting.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum, provide accommodations, and develop strategies to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records, meet all timelines, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements.
- Build strong relationships with students and promote a learning environment grounded in care, consistency, and high expectations.
- Contribute to our positive school culture by modeling and reinforcing the values of being encouraging, positive, and grateful (#beEPG).
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required (or ability to obtain).
