Description: Mahomet-Seymour High School is currently accepting applications for a full time School Psychologist to join a district team of three other collaborative and supportive school psychologists. The School Psychologist supports students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success by providing assessment, consultation, and intervention services. The psychologist works collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to promote positive learning environments and student well‑being.
This position will begin with the school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology is preferred
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification/endorsement is required
- Knowledge of special education law and evaluation procedures
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience in a school setting preferred
Salary: Please see the attached current Salary Schedule (our existing 4-year collective bargaining agreement will expire at the end of the school year and we will be negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the school year). The initial salary placement for this position is currently at the MS + 45 lane (this is also subject to change based on the new collective bargaining agreement).
