Hinsdale District 86 is looking for a Spanish teacher at Hinsdale Central High School for the school year. The ideal candidate possesses strong content knowledge and the willingness and ability to teach students at differing academic levels across the discipline. This position is within the World Language Department and may teach a variety of courses, including Spanish 1-5, Spanish language arts.
TIMELINE:
Anticipated openings will be posted on the District 86 website in January 2025. Screener interviews are scheduled to begin in late February. Interested candidates should submit a completed application by February 20, 2026, for review. No interviews will occur prior to this time. We will email all applicants the status of the interview process–thus you do not need to email us to check on your status.
- Valid State of Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL) with a Spanish Endorsement.
- A bilingual endorsement is highly preferred.
- Master’s in Spanish with the ability to teach Dual Credit.
- Coaching and co-curricular openings.
