Base pay: $61,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year. The actual salary will be based on your skills and experience; please discuss with your recruiter.

As a School Social Worker Clinician with The Menta Group, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, as well as work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students. This position is located at Menta Academy Iroquois (Sheldon, IL) with staff hours from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday–Friday, following a 10‑month school calendar.

• Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate)
• Certified School Counselor (IL PEL Certificate)
• MSW with LSW or LCSW
• Clinical/Counselor LCPC, LPC, LCP

• Employ data‑based decision‑making in multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments, and behavioral approaches.
• Build leadership to help students succeed.
• Develop positive behavioral and academic interventions.
• Monitor and report student progress and complete evaluations, program evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals.
• Travel locally to other Menta locations when necessary.

• One of the following licenses/certifications:
  Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate), Certified School Counselor (IL PEL Certificate), MSW with LSW/LCSW, LCPC, LPC, LCP.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong consultative and data analysis abilities.
• Creative thinker capable of developing a wide range of interventions for a diverse student population.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
